CICADAS: The oldest bugs you never met!

This collection was created for teachers and families to use to explore and learn about this long feared and celebrated bug. Teachers can use Harvard's Project Zero Thinking Routines to engage students in sharing their thinking about these incredible animals. While looking at this collection classes and families can share their thinking using the routine See, Think, Wonder. While looking at the items kids can share what they see, what they think, and what they wonder. After learning more about these amazing insects students can capture how their thinking might have changed using the thinking routine I used to think... Now I think..

Where There's Love, There's Life: Celebrating Love

In this collection we are exploring the celebration of love. Marriages happen around the world and have changed over time. As we look we can consider what see, what we think, how the ideas here are connect to us, and how the ideas here are connect to the world and our place in it. As a family you can talk about how to make a better bicycle. How can it be more effective (work better)? More efficient (easier or faster)? More ethical (better for the community, safer, more fair)? More beautiful? At the end of the collection I have provided a few ideas for families about what to do next.

If you want to learn more about more about See Think Wonder you can click here to see a video of a teacher using the routine in her classroom.
