Sydney MacPherson
My name is Sydney and I am currently in nursing school. I began my traveling by first going to Canada. In Nova Scotia, there is miles of grassland and not many intricate buildings so I was not able to see much architecture. In 2016, I traveled all around Italy. I started out in Florence for 5 days. We then we made our way to Tuscany, otherwise known as wine country, and ended in Rome on Christmas. During my time in Italy, I was inspired by notorious architects and the amazing buildings they made out of hand. These buildings are so detailed even though they barely had any tools back then to assist them. I am lucky to have seen a few of the buildings in my collection in person. I have touched them and have been inside of these buildings. In my opinion, architecture is the most beautiful and intricate art form because of how much thought, time, and effort it takes to make them. My time in Italy has inspired me to have taken a few art classes during my time in college. My next big trip will hopefully be to Ireland, where I will take in all of the ancient beauty that country also has to offer.
