I am an English teacher at Pembroke High School, Massachusetts. I have been teaching for twenty years and have taught all grade levels from 7-12, including inclusion classes as well as honors level classes. During the upcoming school year, I will be teaching American Literature (juniors) and several Senior Seminars including Medieval Literature; Adventure and Survival Literature; and Suspense, Mystery, and Horror Literature.

Henry David Thoreau and IBM (Civil Disobedience & Thoreau's Journals also discussed.)

<p><em><strong></strong></em>Thoreau inspired posters were created in the late 1970s by graphic designer Ken White, to hang in the IBM headquarters.
