Bamboo Stick Stamps

Bundle of 8 bamboo sticks (Ohe Kapala) each carved with a different design for imprinting the design on kapa cloth, carved by Moana Eisele. The bundle is part of a collection of kapa tools used to make barkcloth, and was made specifically for the U.S. Exploring Expedition conservation project that took place in the Department of Anthropology Conservation Lab at the Museum Support Center in 2012-2013.
