<p>The Prothonotary Warbler, one of the most popular birds in South Carolina, has experienced dramatic population loss in the past 50 years. This collection will illustrate how urbanization, climate change, and habitat destruction nearly caused the bird to fall to extinction and projects that are put in place to ensure future growth. This Learning Lab collection was created by Luc Jamous in the Summer 2021 Smithsonian Affiliate Digital Learning and Engagement Internship, in partnership with Emerson Collective and South Carolina State Museum<em>, a Smithsonian Affiliate</em>. #SAintern #ClimateChange</p>

<p>This collection includes general information on the COVID-19 pandemic, which emerged in the United States in early 2020.
