I was born and raised in country side of Japan. One of my hobbies were to sleep in my house garden with loud music playing. Those were wonderful times, especially on sunny days. I like almost every kinds of music, and when I listen to music, what I listen to depends on my mood. My favorite artists are Oasis, beabadoobee and One Direction etc.

How did music bring good effects on the civil rights movement, and how did it change.

The aim of this collection is to understand the relationship between music, such as jazz, gospel and spirituals etc and civil rights movement. In the 1950s, civil rights movement, which is for equal rights for African Americans to end racial discrimination, became a social movement. It spanned from 1950s to the 1960s, and people used various nonviolent ways, including music, to challenge segregation and inequality. At that time, music played an important role in the movement. People overcame with music. This collection includes images, videos and audio.
