<p>This is a curated collection of objects from the period c.1855 to c. 1870. They represent a range of experiences, issues, and questions Americans faced and debated during that era. In this project, you will choose one of these items to analyze. <em>Most</em> of the objects have some information about them. <em>All </em>of the objects have questions that will help you examine and investigate the object more closely.</p> <p>Your task is to choose one of these objects to analyze and investigate further.
