This learning lab is a timeline of the Spanish American War; it goes from 1867-1920. The main objective of this collection is to learn and understand the Spanish American War from Puerto Rico's perspective.

In the Pre-War Puerto Rico portion, you will learn what happened in Puerto Rico that led to the Spanish American War of 1898. It starts with a general view of what was happening in Puerto Rico and the series of events that led the island to fight for its independence. The second portion is Wartime Puerto Rico and it is focused on the war itself and what happened to the remaining Spanish colonies.
