Women in Agriculture

One of the earliest careers for women outside of the house was working on the family farm or ranch. There are many women today who have carried on this proud tradition. These women are truly the "Superwomen" of not only the past but of modern day as well. Working from sunup until sundown to ensure the business continues to be successful and that they can fully contribute to the prosperity of their immediate and extended families, From upholding traditions and carrying on knowledge of the trade from generation to generation to newer innovations to revolutionize the agricultural field, women have been essential to farms, ranches, fields, and forests.
