<p>How did African Americans attempt to travel safely in the United States during the age of Jim Crow?</p> <p>This Learning Lab investigates the question of African American travel during the age of Jim Crow, and how the Green Book assisted by providing African American a directory of welcoming hotels, motels, travel lodges, restaurants, gas stations, and other facilities as they journeyed throughout the United States.
