<p>Oftentimes, "innovating" solutions to problems around us starts with first learning what's already being done to address said issue. In recent years, the city of Houston, Texas has stepped into the national spotlight for its effectiveness in dealing with one of the worst homelessness crises in the country. This collection of resources aims understand what exactly Houston is doing, and how a city like Asheville might be able to use Houston as a model with which to combat our own housing crisis. </p>

<p>How do communities collectively push back against nameless, faceless, and most immovable issues? This collection contains several examples of how activists, organizations, artists, and STUDENTS have fought to preserve and build community in the face of problems that feel immeasurable and immovable. </p>
