<p>This collection highlights an individual/groups response to an action taken by government.  How do these examples represent  different forms of civic engagment?  What commonalities and differences can you see in the choice of action? Students will learn that being civically engaged takes many forms, and that it is important for them to be willing to participate in whatever way they can. It invites them to start thinking about ways they can take civic action as they start to think the topic and format for their civic action project.</p>

<p>This collection includes propaganda posters to recruit nurses as well as information about the actual conditions nurses faced overseas. </p>
