Florence Merriam Bailey
Florence Augusta Merriam Bailey (August 8, 1863 – September 22, 1948) was an American ornithologist and nature writer. She was very influential in the conservation of birds and an entertaining writer. One of my favourite naturalists, along with her husband Vernon Orlando Bailey and her brother C. Hart Merriam.
