The amazing collection here at “The μουσείο (“Museum”) of Greek History” is just Greek pieces of art and things that show the amazingness of Ancient Greece. It shows the beautiful and non-beautiful parts of Greece and to me it is quite extraordinary.

I have always loved Greek history and art which is why I wanted to create this museum, as well as to share Greece with everyone else. When people enter the museum I want them to be blow away by the history and character of the museum. When they leave I want the guests to take with them Ancient Greece. I want them to remember the excitement of Ancient Greece.

This collection is about ancient Egypt. My exhibit is called “The Ancient Egypt Collection.” It is about the art, culture, and history of Ancient Egypt. I chose this theme because I have always been interested in this subject, and I don’t think that there are many exhibits about it. I hope that any visitors to this exhibit enjoy themselves and learn more about Ancient Egypt.

big museum of shoes

My collection is about shoes through history. I chose this topic because shoes are very important. Without them Neil Armstrong could not walk on the moon and the US Team could not win the World Cup.

I hope you learn all about different types of shoes, pros, cons, and interesting things about that type of shoe. I also hope you learn about the history of them, how they were created and about the person who wore them.

My collection is about monsters created by people from ancient or modern times. One of my favorites is the monster Cthulhu. He has a head of a squid, a body of a human, and the wings of a dragon.

I chose the theme of monsters because first of all I thought it was cool (in a nerdy way). Another reason is that monsters tie in with different country’s histories.

I want my visitors to learn that monsters were created in stories and takes. Storytellers would use monsters in their stories to make them more interesting. Not only that, but humans have lived with fantasy and made up monsters from their imagination. Monsters have basically been living with us since humans had their own creativity.

My collection is about different animal skulls. There is a bison skull, a pig skull, and cow skull.

I chose my theme because bones are interesting and important. Also, I wanted to let people know about the inside of animal bodies. The reason why I chose skulls instead of other bones is because the head is the most important for all people and animals. Their protection is from the skull.

I want my visitors to take away that the skulls are gross and even they have skulls.

Tennis has been a sport for many years and has gotten more and more popular. Personally I love the sport and find it very fun and like a good exercise. I hope you find my collection entertaining while it shows many old historic photos of tennis then new modern day tennis. Through my exhibit I hope you learn something even if it is very simple.

My collection was based off my love and knowledge about tennis. It has many art pieces that have to do with tennis in some way. There are many themes to chose form so you may be wondering why I chose what I chose.

Well, it was actually easy.

I thought of what I wanted people to know about it, but it had to be something I knew about. Next, I chose the topic then found some art. I wanted people to learn from my exhibit so I tried to make a theme that some may now know about. Overall I want my visitors to learn something about tennis even if it is that you use a racket to hit the ball over the net.

                                                                             sincerely,

                                                                                                   Harriet R.
The theme of this installation is black and white.

This collection is about what you can do in art without the use of color. It is almost like a social experiment. I want to see how people react to popular art pieces without color. I want to see people react.

A collection inspired by water.

My collection is about how water is used as inspiration for art. I was inspired to choose this theme because of Untitled No. 6 — the sculpture I made and our visit to the “Whistler in Watercolor” exhibit.

I want visitors to take away that water is more than a necessity — it is something that you can learn from, grow with, and be inspired by.
