I am an English Teacher at Isaac Bear Early College High School in Wilmington, NC. 10 years ago a team of 4 teachers, myself included, came on board to co-create this innovative high school program, housed on the campus of University of North Carolina, Wilmington. In my role at IBECHS, I am English Department Chair and presently teach Honors English 11 and 12. Prior to teaching at IBECHS, I taught English at John T. Hoggard Highschool for 9 years, and my course subjects included Honors English 9-12, AP Language. I hold a BA in English from the University of Minnesota and an MA in Teaching English from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. I am National Board Certified.
