Baseball and the Postal Service: Teaching Race and Gender through Two American Institutions

Join staff from the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum as they introduce online resources related to their upcoming exhibition, Baseball: America’s Home Run. Created for inclusion in fifth grade classrooms, these Smithsonian Learning Lab collections explore the intersection of baseball and the U.S. postal system through the lenses of race and gender. Webinar participants will receive a personalized introduction to the Smithsonian Learning Lab website, as well as a guided tour of the two Postal Museum online collections.
